Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BIOTOLD website (biotold.com) or registering for the BIOTOLD conference, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or register for the event.

Use of Website

The BIOTOLD website is provided for informational purposes, conference registration, and speaker applications. You agree to use the website only for its intended purposes and not to engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or interfere with the site's operation.

Registration and Tickets

All conference tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are transferable to another individual — please contact us at contact@biotold.com to arrange a transfer. BIOTOLD LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation by BIOTOLD LLC, full refunds will be issued to all registered attendees.

Speaker Applications

Submitting a speaker application does not guarantee a speaking slot at BIOTOLD. We review all applications and select speakers based on topic relevance, story quality, and program balance. BIOTOLD LLC reserves the right to accept or decline any application at our discretion. Accepted speakers will be notified directly.

Content and Presentations

Speakers are solely responsible for the content of their presentations. Speakers should not share proprietary or confidential information belonging to their employer or any third party without obtaining appropriate approvals. By presenting at BIOTOLD, speakers grant BIOTOLD LLC permission to record, reproduce, and distribute their presentation in video, audio, and written formats for promotional and educational purposes.

Intellectual Property

The BIOTOLD name, logo, branding, and website content (including text, design, and graphics) are the property of BIOTOLD LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

BIOTOLD LLC provides the website and conference on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BIOTOLD LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or attendance at the conference. Our total liability for any claim related to the conference shall not exceed the amount you paid for your ticket.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
